Mr Kane

As a young man “Pat was chased by a bevy of bountiful woman.

He stopped the chase when he met Annie Alston Craig and they became Nan and pat. Farther to Elizabeth, David and adopted son David. he was also a grandfarther to Claire, Davina, Terri, Kayleigh, Andrew and Sam. Nan also went on to be a great grandfarther to Cameron and Ellie.

Pat loved Nan so much so that he married twice, once In Glasgow and once in Keighley because with his sweet tooth he liked wedding cake, and Nan loved Pat so much that no matter how many mistakes he made in his life time, the strength of their love over came all.

Pat became very ill at the beginning of february 2004, he was cared for and returned to the care of the family with medical back up by Airedale general Hospital, for a window of time of love, respect and honour.
Pat was very brave and has a heart the size of a house,

See you at the bridge Pat!

Its been just over 4 years since u died grandad and there aint a day gone by that i dont think of you and remeber silly lil things from my childhood. You was a one in a million i could not of asked fr a better grandad. when i had a problem i could talk it threw with you and you would advise me but you always let me make my own mind up. Im writing this now because i know that u and nana are now reunited. I hope when u meet her at the bridge u was clean shaven and not wearing your timberland jumper cause i can just imagine the ear ache that nana gave you. you will always be in my thoughts and heart love u xxxxxx

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be,
So he put his arms around you,
and whispered “come to me”.
With tearful eyes we watched you,
And saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make u stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands at rest,
God broke our heart to prove to us
He only takes the best.

love you xxxxx
